What's On

Visitors can look forward to a bigger and better Nantwich and South Cheshire Show this year.

After last year's disappointment when the show had to be cancelled due to non-stop torrential downpours, show directors have promised an event to remember at Dorfold Park in Nantwich on July 30.

An action--packed day of family entertainment is planned including 12 hours of continuous ring displays from show jumping and heavy horses to daring displays by escapologist Mark Stannage and a FMX freestyle bike team.

Massive marquees will house the International Cheese Show as well as home, food, garden, leisure, home produce and handicraft displays. And if that's not enough, there will over 400 trade stands to browse and enjoy retail therapy in the picturesque South Cheshire countryside.

There will be the chance to sample the wares of many food producers while keeping an eye out for this year's celebrity judge.

As the biggest one-day attraction of its kind countrywide, the show brings massive economic benefits to our borough while supporting charitable causes.

More than 30,000 people are expected this year so make a date in your diary for the Nantwich and Show Cheshire Show. For ticket information and the discounts available for advance booking visit www.nantwichshow.co.uk
